About Your Librarian

ABOUT YOUR BMS LIBRARIAN

I am very proud to be a native Borgan.  I attended Central Elementary, Borger Middle School and Borger High School.  I graduated from Frank Phillips College, West Texas A&M University and am currently working on my MLS from the University of North Texas in Denton.

I began my teaching career in 5th grade science at Borger Intermediate School.  I have also taught 6th grade science, 7th grade ELA, been a library assistant at Paul Belton Elementary, and worked as the receptionist at Borger Middle School.  This will be my second year in the library at Borger Middle School.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading (of course), and watching NASCAR and Texas Rangers baseball.  I also enjoy spending time with my family and taking our fifth wheel on amazing family trips.

The purpose of the Borger Middle School Library is to ensure that all students become effective users of ideas and information so that they may become independent, lifelong learners, and to foster in all students a love of reading and literature.
